Moon made me merry

Cassie Claus gave a wonderful Watercolor Crescent Moon ornament to me for the holidays. That's the product image from her shop there to the right.

As much as I liked the design online, I love the actual thing even more. The colors are deeper and more vivid, and it looks to me like an illustration from some delightful children's book. This really is from an original watercolor painting by Cassie. I hope she paints more!

Most of the merchandise with this design features a version on a white background. I confess that I like the rich blue background better. Cassie seems quite helpful, so I think it couldn't hurt to contact her if you, too, like the blue version.
