Motion pause

How often do you visit any site specifically to see the same content you've seen before? I very rarely do. I find what I'm seeking or check for new stuff, then go on to the next thing. There are exceptions. An artist who recently complimented my B'alam-a-rama designs of Maya glyphs has a site named Nemo's Utopia. Ever since he wrote, I have visited it again and again.

I was excited when actual samples of Nemo's art arrived yesterday. I like them even better in print, particularly though 3D glasses. Nemo describes his artwork as "trippy." That it certainly is. I'd add "psychedelic." As a child of the 60s and 70s myself, I find his interpretation of subjects and styles both nostalgic and contemporary. The bold, colorful, and detailed vision of themes from Meso-America and India is well worth a look.

Oh, by the way, "motion pause" is my favorite anagram of "Nemo's Utopia" and he does make periodic updates to the site.
