Icon icon

Yeah, more about me and my icons.

Yesterday, MacLiberals talked up my Valentines icons at warrior~poet. Apparently, my designs can be interpreted in new and unexpected ways. Take a look to see what I mean. A member later wrote We have a regular Icon Icon here.... *chuckle* Yup, that's me. Our children already call me Icon Maaan.

Today, MacLiberals features a site of Macintosh stories, where I learned that Apple's Lisa had pixels that were twice as high as they were wide. What an icon headache that would be! Then again, I used to maintain aging CRT displays that scanned in spirals.

Last Friday, Short 'n Sweet snuck up to fourth most popular on Apple's Icons, screensavers, etc. page and stayed there all weekend. Today it's in second place! The set was still being rotated through the main OS X Downloads page yesterday but I don't see it there now. Just wait until I spring my next set on the world!

i looove your icons. i came poking around your site to tell you that. i love them all so much. the sea beast adorned my desktop for much longer than any other icon in the history of my ibook. the stone ground halloween ones make me giggle. and the valentine day candys currently leave a nonsensical message trail across my screen. it's kind of like magnetic poetry, i keep moving them around so that they make less sense.

thank you so much.
