October at last!
Time for a breather. I've been working full tilt on JamieCo Design since mid-August, unveiling a new section of 1-8 designs each and every week! No wonder Utter Bibble and my portfolio have become little more than ads for the shop... it's virtually all I have been doing!
Fruits of my labor:
• A Groan of Ghosts
• Get yer 'ween on, Punkin!
• Stone Ground
• WarP o'Lanterns
• Autumn Leaves
• National Coming Out Day
• I need all this frustration like I need another butt!
Now that I have a new URL and tagline for JamieCo Design, I also updated its business card. The first spanking new boxful arrived at the end of last week. Yay! They turned out pretty well—the colors are accurate—although the white band doesn't quite meet the top corner as shown below.
I suspect that degree of precision requires a more expensive printer, so these are fine for now.
My productivity has also skyrocketed since road construction reached a quieter phase in this block. When noise drowns out phone conversations and erratic banging-jarring-rattling-jolting sets teeth on edge, creativity is bound to suffer. The city had to distribute two notification letters before they got it right, but paving is supposed to begin tomorrow.
Residential Driveways are closed. ...Driveways will be opened once all of the concrete lanes, curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway aprons are installed. This is anticipated to be within three (3) weeks.
Getting in and out of here is definitely "interesting" but the end is in sight. As I recall, we had light snow in March after construction began. I wouldn't be surprised if snow falls again before it is finished. Wheeee!Tags: autumn, business card, fall, halloween, JamieCo Design, portfolio
